  10. Hi there peeps! James here, bringing you another collection of home-made
  11. newicons, this time for these JST/WHDload hd-installed games:

  13.     *   James Pond
  14.     *   Robocod
  15.     *   Zool
  16.     *   First Samurai
  17.     *   Zeewolf II
  18.     *   Putty (2 icons)
  19.     *   Heimdall
  20.  
  21. Heres some information that I cant be bothered to put into a paragraph:

  23. *   All the icons were created by me - so if you use them in anthing,just
  24.     mention my name or something. ;)
  25.  
  26. *   The icons are mainly from titlescreen grabs or gameboxes from Buzz's
  27.     great site - Exotica.  (http://exotica.amigascne.org - i think....)
  28.  
  29. *   The icons are usually 93 pixels wide or tall (ie: they're big).
  30.  
  31. *   The icons have been created for a light background, and transparency
  32.     used wherever possible (some are just "button style") - I have included
  33.     a small BG pic (cream.jpg) as an example. This basically means the
  34.     anti-aliasing will look crap on most Babylon-5 backgrounds (oh yes....
  35.     that is all part of being an Amiga owner....[shudder]...)

  37. *   The icons should have the correct default tool, so you ought to just
  38.     be able to copy them over - if not use Iconizer or something.
  39.  
  40. *   The icons have been saved in the "single" format, meaning there is
  41.     only one image tag (eg: no IM2= ) Basically, this makes them load
  42.     faster, and halves the filesize.  Do we really need to know if we've
  43.     clicked an icon anyway?
  44.  
  45. *   The icons have no "classic" image, meaning you'll only see a white
  46.     dot if you dont have newicons running - but every does, right?
  47.     Again, this saves on loading and diskspace.
  48.  
  49. *   Several classic, and some not-so-classic games are catered for - if you
  50.     want an icon made, just let me know first, send me the game (hd-install)
  51.     and I'll be happy to help out ;)

  56. All of these icon were taken from my AmigaInABox archives.  AmigaInABox is
  57. a collection of packages for UAE users (including myself) to see what a real
  58. Amiga can be like. Check out:

  61. In case you didn't know, everything in this archive has been created in
  62. WinUAE - thats right, I dont actually own a real Amiga, yet seem to spend
  63. more time on "the Amiga" than "the PC" - ironic huh?.....
